Yanick Gervais has been serving in the top job at the Quebec-based company on an interim basis since Oct. 7. He was most recently senior vice-president, operations at Olymel.

The company says Réjean Nadeau died of sudden and virulent cancer. He is survived by his wife, two children and grandchildren.
