Violet Lamoureux was one three Willingdon Elementary School students who took to the stage during Sunday's United Nations Youth and Community Environment Festival.

The grades five and six students have been warming up their vocal cords once a week for the past 6 months, ever since their audition with a Montreal Canadiens employee.
