Part of the street in front of Parliament Hill has been blocked off since early 2022, after thousands of "Freedom Convoy" protesters took over the area for several weeks.

A cyclist was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries following a crash at Wellington Street and Lyon Street North Thursday afternoon.
