Multiple vegan vendors gathered in River Landing Park on Saturday for Saskatoon's first Veg Fest to celebrate plant-based diets and their support for animal life.

Organizers are hoping Veg Fest, which highlights a healthy and sustainable plant-based diet, will become an annual event in the city.
