Up to 80 per cent of workers in the tubular division at the Evraz steel mill in Regina are excepted to be laid off in the upcoming months.

The workforce at Evraz steel mill has dropped significantly this year due to a lack of long-term projects and companies purchasing imported steel, according to United Steelworkers Local 5890.
