Toronto is digging itself out of mountains of snow on Monday after a massive winter storm on Sunday dumped around 50 centimetres of the white stuff — or more — in the city.

With the Greater Toronto Area still reeling from the effects of a devastating ice storm, all Toronto, Peel,York Region and Toronto Catholic district school board facilities will be closed on Monday.
