Halifax Regional Police say the tommy-gun has been rendered inoperable and was for display purposes only.

Two people face charges after police seized drugs, ammo, a sawed-off shotgun, a ballistic vest and a Second World War era sub-machine gun in separate raids in Toronto and Brampton.
