TORONTO — Two people face charges after police seized drugs, ammo, a sawed-off shotgun, a ballistic vest and a Second World War era sub-machine gun in separate raids in Toronto and Brampton.
Police executed search warrants at unspecified addresses in the two cites on Tuesday and seized the following items:
- A .45 calibre automatic Thompson sub-machine gun
- A 9mm Cobray Mac 11 sub-machine gun
- A sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun
- A ballistic vest
- Numerous rounds of ammunition of various types (.45 calibre, 9mm, .380 auto, .357 mag, .38 calibre, 12 gauge, 7.65)
- A quantity of powdered cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana
Leslie Prince, 38, of Toronto, and Immorie Joris, 27, of Brampton, have each been charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a loaded firearm
- Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
- Possession of a firearm obtained by the commission of an offence
- Careless storage of a firearm
- Two counts of careless storage of ammunition
- Three counts of possession of a prohibited device

They were both scheduled to appear in court in Toronto on Wednesday.
