A London Police Service ceremony Monday marked the official passing of command of uniformed and civilian employees to Chief Thai Truong from former chief Steve Williams.

London Police Chief Designate Thai Truong was born in a refugee camp in Bangkok, Thailand, and was named for the country. He cites seeking asylum in Canada as driving force.
