On Aug. 25, Edmonton Police Service arrested a 34-year-old Sherwood Park man, who was then transported to Calgary and charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder.

According to court records obtained by Global News, Fouani faces various criminal charges related to money laundering and possessing money from drug trafficking.
