Sunday marks the shortest day of the year as many Canadians will set their clocks ahead by an hour as most of the country moves to daylight saving time.

Let's join Saskatchewan, Arizona, every Caribbean nation, Africa, Russia, Asia, Hawaii and half of Lloydminster, and put an end to daylight savings time soon, Mike Stafford says.
