Sports teams in Calgary now have new place to play field sports indoors at the Shouldice Seasonal Dome which opened for use in October.

The City of Calgary and members of its sports community are teaming up to fund an air-supported shelter for one of the turf fields at Shouldice Athletic Park.

The city finally celebrated the grand, official re-opening of Shouldice Athletic Park. Sunday's opening of the plaza event marked the final phase of an ongoing redevelopment project. The athletic space was badly damaged in the 2013 flood, a set- back for the project.
