More than four years after closing down for repairs, Winnipeg's oldest swimming pool is finally reopening Monday.

The 84-year-old building was slated to reopen on May 9 but the city said that date will have to be pushed back. When the pool was refilled for the first time since the renovations, some of the drain connections surrounding the pool started to leak.

The renovations will cost about $4 million dollars, much of it from the city and province but it also includes a million from the Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg.
