A woman alleged to local police in February 2017 that a 44-year-old Ottawa doctor sexually assaulted her during a scheduled appointment. Investigators are concerned there could be other alleged victims and are asking those individuals to come forward.

The man met the alleged victim "through a social networking site exclusively designed for teenagers," the Ottawa Police Service said.
