Alex Jones claimed illness as the reason he missed his depositions for the Sandy Hook defamation lawsuit, but he still hosted an Infowars show earlier that week.

A Texas judge ordered the Infowars host to pay legal fees as well as refused to dismiss a lawsuit that targeted him for using his show to promote falsehoods that the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre was a hoax.

The parents decided to sue more than five years after the attacks because they had concluded Jones has no intention of leaving them alone.
