As prices soar into the summer, Saskatchewan is considered to be in a better spot than most other provinces, with the lowest inflation rates in the country at seven per cent.

Higher prices for food, passenger vehicles and housing drove up Canada's inflation rate in December, with some experts predicting costs will continue to rise into the spring.
