U.S. officials released intelligence last week that North Korea and Russia were arranging a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un.

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the main topic of the talks will be bilateral relations between the neighbouring countries.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said after his summit with Kim Jong Un Thursday that the North Korean leader is ready to proceed toward denuclearization - but needs solid security guarantees to do so.
