Victoria Police Chief Frank Elsner has been suspended by the Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner while he faces another investigation.

Victoria police Chief Frank Elsner is looking to have the order for an external investigation quashed after allegations of inappropriate private messages to the wife of a subordinate officer surfaced in December.

Seventeen members of the Abbotsford Police Department (APD) are under investigation following allegations of misconduct under the Police Act.
