A Hamilton woman has rented billboards across the GTHA to find a match for her husband Helio, who was diagnosed with kidney disease 17 years ago.

Hurricane Patricia was classified as a category 5 hurricane when it hit land, north of the popular tourist town, Puerto Vallarta, but was quickly downgraded to a tropical depression.

There were early reports of some flooding and landslides, but no word of fatalities or major damage as the storm pushed across inland mountains and bypassing the metropolis of Guadalajara overnight.
