In a vote on Monday night, 185 MPs voted in favour of the use of the emergency powers in response to blockades in Ottawa and elsewhere, while 151 voted against the measure. 

The Liberal government is heading into the second half of its mandate with a number of big legislative priorities they are eager to move through Parliament.
