A shortage of the diabetes drug Ozempic which is used off-label for weight loss is expected in Canada, the supplier said Friday.

Ozempic's popularity has caused shortages of the drug in the U.S. and Australia, and now consumers are turning their eyes to Canada as a cheap place to get the medication.
