Ottawa police have charged a member of the local paramedic service with forgery and other fraud-related offences after he allegedly presented a fake proof of COVID-19 vaccine.

Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson wants to see a plan in place by Labour Day for city staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19, according to a letter sent to the city manager Tuesday.
