A Red Deer, Alta., man is facing multiple charges after allegedly attempting to lure a youth by offering them money to help search for a lost cat, RCMP say.

Red Deer RCMP are investigating a possible public mischief case after reports of a person in an Oriole Park home with a weapon Wednesday morning turned out to be false.
