The 37-year-old woman from Ardoise was transported to hospital in Halifax via Lifeflight with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the garbage truck was uninjured while the driver of the motorcycle, a 21-year-old man from Three Mil Plains, N.S., was transported to QEII Hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

The hot, dry conditions this summer have been ideal for growing grapes, expected to lead to a better vintage.
