The U.S government has picked a Google subsidiary to run and renovate a federal airfield that is frequently used by the Internet company's billionaire executives.

The H211 aircraft saved between $3.3 million to $5.3 million beginning in 2009 by buying fuel through an arm of the U.S. Department of Defence at below-market prices.
