The New Horizon Mall near Balzac has been opened since the summer but as of Thursday, only 11 shops have opened.

In May, 500 multicultural retailers will set up shop inside the New Horizon Mall, just outside Calgary, south of CrossIron Mills. For many of them, it will be their first time owning their own sales space.

The massive Tsawwassen Mills Mall located near the B.C. Ferries terminal has announced another 133 retailers joining the shopping centre, including a handful of shoe outlets and clothing factory stores.
