City of Saskatoon administration said continuous concerns over the site led to its recommendation to permanently close the Meadowgreen recycling depot.

Volunteers with the Central Urban Métis Federation began cleaning up around the Saskatoon recycling depot Friday morning but were asked to leave by city crews.
