Plans to build a state of the art gigafactory aiming to make the greenest electric vehicle batteries in the world are sparking concerns among those who live around the area.

The 170-hectare site will have initial capacity to produce about 30 gigawatt hours of annual cell manufacturing when it goes into production in 2026.
