Near Mabel Lake, dozens of seasonal properties are on evacuation alert and some are hoping more resources will be assigned to the out-of-control blaze burning upslope.

The unnamed fire is located around 2.5 kilometres from the eastern shore of Mabel Lake and is listed at 277 hecatres. It was discovered on Friday.
