The leadership of the small village community of Lumsden Beach is calling on the provincial government to build a new neighbouring beach.

Police say a woman was killed during a single-vehicle collision near Lumsden Beach, Sask., on Sunday, while a second occupant was taken to a Regina hospital for medical care.
