The Dutch Canadian Club Edmonton unveiled a statue of Holocaust victim and diarist Anne Frank on Sunday as a tribute to Canada’s role in liberating the Netherlands from the Nazis.

Located in the heart of Old Strathcona, the official opening of Light Horse Park was marked with a royal visit Friday morning.
