A painting of Christ by the Renaissance master Leonardo da Vinci sold for a record $450 million (380 million euros) at auction on Wednesday.

The Leonardo da Vinci painting, called Salvator Mundi, will make history as it becomes the only painting from the artist to be a part of a private collection.
