A thunderous crush of soil and debris killed 21 people in Malaysia Friday, and rescuers dug through the mud in the night for another 12 who were feared buried in the landslide.

Two people died and 51 others were feared buried after a landslide hit a campsite outside Kuala Lumpur early Friday, Malaysia's fire department said.
