Kevin Yarde says in a tweet Friday that he made the decision to leave the NDP caucus after careful discussion with his family.

Kevin Yarde, MPP for Brampton North, was replaced by Sandeep Singh in a nomination meeting Thursday. Singh will contest the seat for the NDP when Ontario goes to the polls in June.
