Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says COVID-19, inflation and cuts to foreign aid by wealthy countries are deepening the divide between rich and poor nations.

The move comes as the head of the African Alliance slams Canada for bidding to host the conference without making sure all attendees would be given a visa to attend.
