The family of Vida Smith, whose remains were recovered in Banff earlier this month, want to finally lay her to rest. She was reported missing in July of 2020.

Last October police received information about a possible location. Terrain and winter weather conditions made a search 'not possible,' and on May 9, officers revisited the site.
