Fortin has denied any wrongdoing and is asking a Federal Court judge to quash the federal Liberal government's decision to remove him as head of the vaccine rollout campaign.

Government lawyers say that since it is no longer possible for Fortin to be returned to the vaccine post, there's no reason for the court to review the matter.
