Calgary's firefighter union and an area councillor are speaking out after hearing of a recommendation to close a downtown fire hall for budget reasons.

A new community library can be found inside the Westbrook CTrain Station starting Saturday morning. The Calgary Public Library has relocated the aging Shaganappi branch to the LRT station.
