Edmonton city council officially declared a climate emergency on Tuesday, paving the way for a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. 

A new report generated from the city's environment office says Edmonton will run out of room to reach its carbon emission limits within eight years, so it's got to get more aggressive in cutting greenhouse gases.
