Teachers across Durham Region took to the picket lines Tuesday. Several teachers claim increased class sizes will strain the system, putting quality of education at risk.

Durham District School Board's high school teachers began their strike Monday, leaving 21,500 high school students across the region with no classes, and no return date in sight.
