Atlantic Canada's premiers say they want to expand a registry of physicians and surgeons to include other health-care professionals.

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia says a new regional licensing registry for doctors in Atlantic provinces will help cut down on red tape and paperwork.
