A Fredericton student who was told that the crop top she wore to a campus gym was too distracting will get an apology from St. Thomas University.

Students at a high school in Etobicoke showed up in crop tops Tuesday, baring their stomachs and shoulders in protest after school officials hauled 18-year-old Alexi Halket out of class to tell her the outfit she was wearing was inappropriate.
