An Edmonton man is standing his ground after receiving a letter from a Member of Parliament threatening legal action over Tweets accusing the politician of having links to a well-known racist.

James Andre, a new public school trustee for the Battle River School Division, resigned Tuesday morning, following tweets described as "racist, sexist, and homophobic."
