The Chicago River has been dyed a bright shade of green, kicking off the city's St. Patrick's Day festivities.

Wallenda, 35, will attempt the feat without a net or harness. It will be broadcast live on the Discovery Channel at 7 p.m. ET on Nov. 2, the network said.
