A 61-year-old man from Carleton Place, Ont., has allegedly been taking deposits to build tiny homes across the province for more than a year but never building the units, OPP say.

Investigators believe all the incidents are connected and occurred overnight. OPP suspect that the person or people responsible shot the cars and properties with a pellet gun or a slingshot.
