A statement by founder Zane Caplansky said even though the College Street location has closed, the restaurants at Toronto Pearson International Airport and Yorkville are still open for business.

Caplansky’s Deli has finally settled a bitter lease battle with its landlord which will allow the popular restaurant to continue serving smoked meat at its College Street location for the foreseeable future.

Caplansky's Deli has temporarily reopened after a court ruled in its favour in the fight against a lease termination that led to the popular deli being shut down by its landlord earlier this week.
