Among those who said they increased use, the average frequency was four days in the previous week. The survey did not capture how much more that was than pre-pandemic habits.

It says the increase in Canada during this time was more pronounced in adults aged 20 or older, while it declined among young people aged 19 or younger.

Figures from the National Cannabis Survey released today show that 5.3 million or 18 per cent of Canadians aged 15 years and older said they used pot within the last three months.
