While Calgary has yet to undertake public consultation on an Olympics bid, Canmore is set to enter Phase Two of its engagement process.

Canmore town council will spend $200,000 to begin the process of officially deciding whether the community wants to be part of the bid process for the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
