Federal ministers met with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith to discuss the Liberal government's clean energy job transition bill and emissions targets for Alberta and Ottawa.

Bill C-50, dubbed the Canadian Sustainable Jobs Act, would require the government to develop and share a plan every five years to help workers transition to a clean-energy economy.
