Clinic closures are affecting patients in the midst of, or about to start fertility treatments such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI) and frozen embryo transfer (FET).

Four cases of the virus have been confirmed in Canada so far, with three in Ontario and one in British Columbia.
